Albany Code Camp Code is committed to be an inclusive and friendly place to learn.
By attending Albany Code Camp, you agree that you’ll follow this code of conduct on site and through social media.
Short version: Be nice.
Albany Code Camp is committed to providing a conference experience free of harassment for everyone. Sexual language and/or imagery will not be allowed, this includes session content. Code Camp participants who violate these rules may be expelled from the code camp at our discretion.
Harassment includes sexual language and imagery, deliberate intimidation, stalking, name-calling, unwelcome attention, libel, and any malicious hacking or social engineering. Albany Code Camp will be a harassment-free experience for everyone, regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, national origin, or religion (or lack thereof).
Trolling includes posting inflammatory comments to provoke an emotional response or disrupt discussions.
Spamming includes posting off-topic messages to disrupt discussions, promoting a product, soliciting donations, advertising a job / internship / gig, or flooding discussions with files or text.
If you see someone engaging in harassment, trolling, or spamming, please let us know. You can email firstname.lastname@example.org or find one of the code camp volunteers. We will take the appropriate action. Code camp volunteers can be identified by the code camp badges and by special code camp t-shirts.
